Another important area of the activities of the group is technology transfer from the research laboratory to the commercial and industrial sector.
These activities are channeled through a spin-off company, Radiantis, created from the OPO research laboratories at ICFO in 2005. The company is today recognized as a leading manufacturer of cutting-edge ultrafast OPO technology and frequency conversion systems, offering a wide range of fully automated innovative products to the scientific and industrial market.
