Announcing the launch of The Decide Game- a virtual activity allowing the public to learn about Photonics and ICFO’s work
Many things have changed since March 2020, but not ICFO’s commitment to society. In order to adapt to the current health situation, ICFO is launching a new digital, interactive and multidisciplinary Outreach activity called “The ICFO Decide Game”. This initiative will allow us to keep our doors virtually open for young people and adults to discover the institute and Photonics, meet ICFO scientists and immerse themselves in the realm of ICFO and Photonics from wherever they are and in a safe way.
Participants in “The Decide Game” will put themselves in the shoes of the policy makers responsible for research and innovation. Throughout the game, they will receive essential information to discuss about Photonics and the importance of science and research in our lives, discover cutting-edge scientific projects that are being developed at ICFO. They will have the opportunity to talk to scientists at the institute, and with all of this information, make a strategic decisions in agreement with the rest of their group.
- Individuals may sign up on their own for a public session.
- Teachers or group coordinators can book a session for their group or class.
- All can download the materials for the ICFO Decide Game in order to discover ICFO in their own time and at their own pace.
